An Overview on GDMS
This solution covers four major functional areas by using its subsystems:

• Documentation of all the project's information and data:
  The whole tabular data (such as plots, maps, texts, videos and photos ...) and spatial data are documented and are accessible within an integrated and classified format.

• Tracking and tracing all the mobile objects:
  All project's mobile assets are able to be tracked and viewed online on map layouts of project via using GPS and Through GPRS communications platform. It will be possible to obtain various reports from the assets online data.

• Online control and monitoring:
  By using different hardware tools, monitoring and controlling and continuous interaction with components of the project is provided.

• Events management:
  GDMS as a decision support system enables the access to desired information in normal situations and also enables events and crisis management in projects.
  

This system based on Seraj engine is now being installed and implemented in Karun4 project.
